This is an experiment to blend my nightmares with the outside world.
The photos are black and white films, taken and developed in a darkroom by me.
The concrete letters are in Greek, from my poem “keep it in a dark place”.
The words of the poem intertwine, and transform into a design.
The unfamiliar of dreams, with the unrealistic vision I capture with my analogue camera, assured me that they belong to each other.
The idea here is to create an awkward situation, not very easy for the viewer.
He can’t read the poem. There is not a sense of familiarity in the photos neither.
Both create a feeling of anxiousness.
An uncanny situation that usually belongs to nightmares.
