Braking the stone I buried for you Papa,  2021

Braking the stone I buried for you Papa, 2021

                   ink on papper 40x50cm

The day my father left me, he took me to the beach with his new girlfriend .

I felt it, that this was the last day I'm seeing him.

I took a huge stone, dig it deep in the sand,

and wish that on the day the waves of the sea uncover this stone

him and his girlfriend will separate.

I was seven years old then.

My father stayed with this bitch for all his life.

So I must brake this stone somehow ..

I knew you wouldn't  listen
so I kept my eyes shut, when I was the last to kiss you

on your frozen grey forehead.
Keep your eyes tight.
Lemons are falling rotten on our garden
Papa could have stayed some years more.
Talking with you was like trying to jump from the top floor
Papa was always looking inside him
Papa never wanted to see what was on the other side of this island
She said I should never cry.
Hold your tiers
when Papa only regretted for not having a house at the mountains of France !
